Rising British boxer Lawrence Okolie, will make his professional debut on Saturday, 25 March , in Manchester, in a cruiserweight fight against an experienced opponent in Russell Henshaw. Henshaw has seven wins from 10 fights. However, Lawrence is ‘not afraid’ to take on all comings.
Londoner Okolie, 24, was the first member of Great Britain’s 2016 Olympic boxing squad to turn professional.
Okolie said:
“I want to dominate the division. I’m not afraid to let the other cruiserweights know that I’m here and I am coming for them,”
Okolie transformation has been remarkable; from boxing for weight loss, to make it into the Great Britain team, then qualifying for the Olympics in Brazil and now turning Professional signed to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing team.

Okolie is certainly not short on confidence and as his knockouts show, he is not short on power either:

The duo will fight on the undercard of Anthony Crolla’s rematch with WBA lightweight world champion Jorge Linares and will take place at Manchester Arena.
